NORWAY
The Lutheran Church in Norway and Iceland (LKNI)
The Ad-Fontes pastoral training program is a supplement to B.A. and M.A. level theological studies in Norway. We provide our students with weekly textual studies, regular thematic lectures, field education in a Lutheran congregation, study trips to the Holy Land, Wittenberg and other sites of theological and Church Historical significance. We furthermore arrange for our students to spend their fourth year as exchange students at a Confessional Lutheran seminary overseas. The program gives the students as well as the Church necessary time to examine whether they should be called to serve in the Office of the Holy Ministry.
