EGLISE LUTHERIENNE EN AFRIQUE-SYNODE DE CÖTE D’IVOIRE (ELA-SCI)
History:
The ELA-SCI have been ILC observers since 2022.
The ELA-SCI was founded in April 1991 in Toulépleu Prefecture through the labor of the Mission Evangélique Luthérienne en Afrique (MELA), missionaries sponsored by the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The ELA-SCI began the process of incorporation with the Minister of the Interior, in Toulépleu, on 14 September 1994, and officially incorporated in June 2005 in Abidjan.
